Manifesting Competition

In addition to Photography Competition, let's try a Manifesting Competition

It's a bit similar to 7 day experiment, except we all try to manifest the same thing for fun. The winner gets to choose the next subject.
We can experiment in any way we want with it, for example, try out different techniques such as visualizing, set it and forget it, 68 seconds, affirmations, scripting, mirror technique, magic and so on. It can boost our confidence in our skills and help us learn what works better for us.

Of course a lot of it is based on honesty and we'd just have to take each other's word for it, although you may snap a photo if it's possible at the time being.


We choose a subject to manifest, something small and fun and the one that manifests it first, wins. When somebody wins the new subject can be chosen immediately, but if there is no winner by 1 week, we change the subject, chosen by previous winner or mods in case the winner is not around.

Keep it small and something anyone could manifest, such as unexpected $10 or
free cappuccino. (Just please, no yellow butterflies, I have a honeysuckle bush in front of my door that attracts tons of yellow butterflies )

I thought it would be more fun to have a big background competition as well with no deadlines. Let's make it $10 000. Must be cash, not written off debt or anything like that. Also can not be a pay for creating an App, otherwise Adi will just nab it straight away

Not really... the winner gets a title of Champion Manifestor and the knowledge that you just manifested freaking $10 000 and are awesome

For the week 1 of our competition, let's manifest a hat with a feather. Can not be a hat with a feather you already own or know of. Can not be a photo of a hat or a video you see, must be an actual hat. It may be on another person you see physically though, doesn't have to become yours
Use any technique you like, but please mention which one you used when you win

So I'm in! Just stated I am in a receiving mode for a hat with a feather and after that let it goooo I do wonder if I have a burning desire for a hat with a feather AND if I see someone wearing a hat with a feather I should harras that person and take a proof picture. That I can post for the photo competition because it makes me so happy

Lol I was just telling Luney yesterday I'm not entirely sure how on earth I could possibly see a hat with a feather as I never go out these days, I'm just chained to my desk working mostly. The only thing I could think of, though I didn't mention it, was that I might see one if my mum bought a new hat. Unlikely scenario.

Today, for the first time in - a very long time, my mum bought me a hat. No feather, but still, a new hat!

Edit: according to Dictionary.com, a feather can also be "something like a feather, as a tuft or fringe of hair." It has a bow and these little tufty things made out of some special hat-ty material, I don't think it counts, but I found the way the hat materialised rather funny nonetheless.

That's awesome! You are in a manifesting hat vibration. Just don't limit it by thinking you its more difficult to manifest because you don't leave the house much. Life is full of surprises. A feathered hat mind as well fly up in your garden sort of speak

My friend mentioned today he needed to buy a hat for a surprise event he has organized for me tomorrow. When I hopefully reacted: " With a feather on it?!!!" He said, "who do you think I am, Robin Hood?" ….

See- we are almost there if I had made the subject just "new hat" we would've already been winners! I love how you manifested a hat against all odds Freya lol.
Now that I think of it, the same night I posted it my husband came home and had a new hat, but I didn't even think twice about it, because it was just a baseball cap that his boss gave him. No feathers and totally not the type of hat I had in mind, but maybe if I think of it- it can count as a sign or synchronicity that I am half way there lol.

And yes, Luney, why couldn't you make it a hat without a feather? We'd all have won already

Oh and - I'm still not really an LOA person, but I've found that things seemed to magically happen when I let go for example, I will think "wouldn't it be cool if...?" or "it would be funny if...", with no need or anything attached, then forget about it, and then it happens. This was the case with the (featherless) hat.

Haha that's funny Freya cos I was also going to look up the definition of a feather to see if I could get around it somehow I saw a lady on the underground with a hat on and she had these weird things on top of it but it definitely wasn't feathers lol. The search continues

P.S. Lunar, I wanted to ask you - ahem, if I walked into a hat shop and saw a feathered hat...that wouldn't really count, would it? Even though that basically embodies my version of loa (positive thinking and action )

Someone posted their kid in an easter bonnet on my fb this morning

it was covered in yellow feathers with little chicks sat in a nest on the top... obvs i cant post the photo but does that count?

I went into the hat section of a department store today and there were lots of feathers --- on fascinators though not on hats

I went to a concert this weekend and you would expect at least one person to look like Robin Hood. But nope, negative. Moving on

Lol this comp is driving me bananas, any time I'm in town I'm like "RIGHT! Lots of people, surely I will see a hat with a feather!!" and I keep looking and looking but nothing lol, lots of hats, no feathers.

Yeah I think I am haha but it's all good though, I'll try different approaches each week and it'll be interesting to compare and see what the results are like.

Haha, I'm the opposite, whenever I am out I completely forget about the hat and for all I know twenty people with feathered hats may have walked past and I would've been completely clueless (more than likely they didn't though )

Awesome Nighty, if there are no other real hats before Thursday then you win Since I did say in the initial post that it can't be a picture or video, must be an actual hat, then it's probably fair if we wait till end of competition

Well, I saw a feathered hat today.
It was in a hat shop though so I'm guessing it doesn't count as "pure loa".
Nonetheless, even in the shops I'd had much difficulty seeing feathered hats anywhere so it still made me happy. It was red, old-fashioned, with a feather - like something from the 1920s. And it cost $120 or thereabouts...I would have taken a photo Armine but my phone battery had died.

Oh I also saw a feathered hat on TV last night!



That's it though. Not that many people seem to wear hats over here unless it's Melbourne Cup Day. Or on the beach, but on the beach you don't see hats with feathers, you see more...
