Did Buddha really say Thoughts Create Reality?

Yes. That was in the Dhammapada itself. In Buddhism, the Dhammapada is as important and popular as the "Sermon on the Mount" is in Christianity. The very first verse in this scripture reads:
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.
This is Thomas Byrom' translation, similar to Max Muller's:
All that we are is the result of what we have thought: it is founded on our thoughts, it is made up of our thoughts.
In another translation from the East we read:
All things are preceded by the mind, led by the mind, created by the mind.
… with the word "mind" here also implying the heart.
This is the first verse of the Dhammapada ever, and these are believed to be Buddha's very words. ♥
