Fantasy Corner
A place to share and discuss fantasy fiction.
To those who like fantasy...
What are your favourite fantasy worlds?
Why do you read fantasy?
What "does it" for you - what makes a story a winner?
What spiritual/moral lessons can you learn from the story?
(and yeah, random fantasy videos/quotes/excerpts/gifs are welcome too)
To those who don't like fantasy

Re: Fantasy Corner
ok so i love fantasy fiction
for me its just an escape, it takes me away to a new world, that can be slightly historic and most definitely magical... somewhere totally different to the real world
i dont really know what else to say, other than i love to watch a character develop and grow throughout the story, i cant say i take any moral or spiritual lessons from the books, i'm sure they're there but i dont look for them, i just read them for pure enjoyment purposes
i like how there can be one character and you can just fall in love with them, admire them for how brave they are and for the lessons they've learnt
and well i just think these Authors are so blinking clever, the way they have to remember every single detail and put the story together, i mean George R R Martin (Game of Thrones)... to write a series of books with over 25 character points of view... well to me thats genius its no wonder its taken him years and years between books!
