Bye (for now at least)

I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this but I think I do.

This is just to let you know that I'm leaving, probably not for good but I don't expect to ever be this active again. It's been fun on the forums but I really have to focus on myself and on my work. These next few months are going to be more hectic than anticipated, and I simply have to break my addiction to the forum.

Hi Selina / Freya!

So this is why I didn't hear back after my pm! Well we clearly don't want to let you go but knowing you will be back at least to say hello makes it ok. I really support your decision 100% because you will be sooooo happy you did it when you realize how much more you will probably be able to focus on. Then when you come back, you can fill us in a bit.

One of my two closest girlfriends (she has a family) just moved to Switzerland. Although it can be so sad to think about them being far away, I support them completely because of the great things it will open up for them. Similarly, I am excited for you and your goals.

Hope to see you visiting but I totally understand how sometimes quitting completely at first is the best way. (I've removed game apps from my phone a couple times because when I got bored or anxious I'd spend all my time on that instead of channeling that energy towards my goals). I'm confident you will be popping in soon enough refreshed and feeling lighter.

It's never the same when someone is absent even temporarily so we'll miss you, Selina. (Besides, given that you're the forum's top posters and most active members, we'll definitely miss you). You remind me of Abraham the Hicks used to channel. He comes as one, Abraham, but when you inquire you find out he's indeed many. (…which begs the question: must you all leave together like this? At least one of you can stay, no? The boy, for example; he's cute.)

Thanks, Freya. And yes, take it easy. When you feel like dropping in just drop in. why the struggle? Don't insist on either "switching off" or "foruming," using your words, because insistence sometimes only reflects cruelty with oneself where none at all is really needed. I'm aware this is the best way to deal with any sort of addiction, but why "define" it as "addiction" in the first place? Why blindly believe your mind and just present or manifest yourself as an addict? You're never an addict; you CAN rather easily stop forever whatever your mind thinks hard to give up. You just "cut down" on this notion in your mind, not on what you love to do or on your social life in general. (And ironically when you stop thinking of yourself as an addict; stop thinking you're struggling or unable to leave, you'll then leave much more easily and smoothly if you still want to. You'll be even surprised at how easy it really is).
