How to quit your job and do what you love!

Along my journey I had so many different jobs. I didn’t end up liking most of them, I remember I hated going to work and felt a lot of negativity while I was at work. One of my favorite things to do is to quit jobs. It is the greatest feeling in the world. So freeing, powerful and exhilarating. I have discovered that the more unconditional love I developed for myself, the less I could tolerate working at a job I hated. The more self-love I developed, the more I was INSPIRED to do something more meaningful with my time.

There is a HUGE correlation between the way we live our lives and our level of self love. Someone who loves themselves would never dream of slaving away at a job they despise. That is abuse! But so many people do it every single day. It is not that they are incapable of higher levels of self love, they just have not realized that they deserve their own love!

When you love yourself madly you will do anything to make yourself happy! You know how when you are head over heels in love and you would do ANYTHING for that person? Well, it is time to start doing anything for you and your happiness! You only have one life (in this body/form/perception) so why spend most of your day doing something you do not enjoy?

I am here to remind you that you are brilliant, magical, amazing, creative and powerful! You can create anything you want and that includes a job you love! Focus more on your infinite nature rather than what you fear.

Most people stay in a job out of fear. Fear of not having enough money, security, stability etc. However, If you can find the courage to open yourself up to the infinite possibilities of the universe, you will always end up with more. Happy people attract everything because they do not need it. So do yourself a favor and go do something you love. Quit your job you hate and try something new! Just keep trying until you find something that fits and feels amazing, or create your own job!

You have the power to make your life exactly how you want it to be! Do not hold back, go for what is in your heart

I really like that you brought up the whole love/fear dynamic. I truly believe that they are the major motivators in our lives and when we act from love amazing things happen and when fear is our motivator it usually doesn't end up feeling good or
working out so well.

I'd like to add something tho. I think for most of us we don't necessarily hate our jobs and may like our work a lot but would like to just change some aspect of it. Whether we think we're underpaid or overworked (or both) or deal with a long commute or whatever the case may be, there usually is a gray area.

There definitely are limiting beliefs involved (usually a belief that there is no "perfect" job or that we aren't worthy of a "perfect" work situation) but I think navigating this gray area is a lot harder than when the situation is black and white.

I know for myself, I love, love, love soooo much about my work but probably like most people I do wish I could get paid more for it and my schedule is less than ideal. So for me, I'd much rather just try to attract a raise and a better schedule rather than leave altogether and I think the same principles that you outline apply to doing that so thanks so much for your post!

What Kazoo is saying about the gray area is a good one. I have been looking for another job for quite a while now, but sometimes you are comfortable in the gray area. Although my work is very stressful, the money is good and I have freedom to schedule my own things. It's not back and white, it's just not liking all of it and I have a feeling I want to go another direction but then getting there.... Well that's a whole different thing. Defining what I want. So for me it isn't as drastic as taking the step to quit. Although I must admit, what if I would quit? Than i am forced to take some steps outside the comfort zone. Steps I wouldn't take right now because I am quite comfortable floating in an ocean that is maybe not as pretty as the one at the Caribbean but that doesn't really matter that much when u float.

Yes, the grey area…! I always teach people to “energetically quit” before they truly quit their job. This means that you start to imagine yourself working exactly where you want to work and having everything as you would like it.

There is no reason you can’t get paid what you desire, have a schedule that you love, and feel appreciated in your field. So instead of quitting, you can just start visualizing your current job in an upgraded form! This works wonders and miracles can and do happen everyday! Why can’t you get a raise or work a better schedule? You CAN, or maybe there is a similar job that
meets all of your requirements, just be open. The important thing is to love what you do and to be happy! You are worthy of success, abundance and happiness!
