No, my dear, I'm not putting up with you, I'm rather enjoying all that you write and send. We're truly blessed to have you here with us. Please forgive me for telling everyone how much you care. Selina, my friends, not only sent a new, beautiful portrait for Posay, but also sent more pictures for others to be displayed along in the Gallery, and I finally had to apologize as the space we have in the Gallery is actually limited. Not to mention the many hours she spent searching for new smileys to be customized for almost all members here. And not to mention her daily contributions, bringing us the best from every genre or kind of material that could ever be found on the Internet—words, quotes, memes, smileys, pictures, animated pictures or gifs, movies-into-gifs, songs and video clips, etc. Truly as she said elsewhere:

I therefore believe, just as a grateful member, it's time for Selina to receive the highest gesture of appreciation Le Cafe currently has to offer, which is the membership of the Founders Group. According to the latest rules, this needs a majority decision from both the Moderators and the Founders groups, and I sincerely hope that members of these two groups will kindly take my suggestion into consideration.


On the other hand, to Selina I must say, no, don't kill yourself my friend to be posting the way you are. This is exactly what I was talking about in my very first post here to you. Remember when I told you "say only 'Bonjour' but keep saying it?" So we too care about you my friend and we don't want this forum or any forum to consume or burn you out. Some of the most promising businesses failed altogether not due to their lack of resources, lack of capital or lack of customers (the most decisive factors in any business's success), but only because they miscalculated their "production capacity" and thus failed to meet the demand.

Similarly, you individually as a unit of production in this world, already successful with a very well known and attractive brand name—Selina, even registered Selina --have to pay attention to your production "capacity" and how you daily "manage" your resources, or you'll be risking, God forbid, not only your "market share" but your very existence in the market.

Selina is awesome. She spends so much time trying to make others feel special. I don't think "Founder" does her justice. She needs something more distinctive. So to me, she shall be:

Selina, Princess of Cookies, Brownies, Donuts, and Chocolate Lava Cake.

Ohhh!! I love waking up in the morning to find that I've manifested Lotus! *and* to find further President-ness. (Though maybe the latter person's presence is just a delayed manifestation on the part of myself and the lovely   )

And of course I *specially* love it when people say nice things about me! Thank you  ---

...nonetheless, I'm perfectly happy being a Top Poster. Even this beautiful title, I suspect, is a special touch to spoil me  

I've noticed that others on the Top Posters board do not have this beautifulness activated, not even Phantasm, who (though I disapprove of the things he posts) at the moment is third on the leaderboard with about as much activity as me or Night Eyes.

Also, for aesthetic reasons -- I like the fact that my name is purple. I believe this may have been a subconscious factor in my decision to join the Prayer group (me, a devout atheist ).*

And PR, I'm not really a donutty or lava cakey kind of person, but I assume these are things you enjoy and so I'm very flattered.
Actually I have some rather unfortunate memories of donuts - my ex buying a big box of Krispy Kremes and getting me to try them, and then, once I'd eaten half of one, telling me they were fried in pig fat...

...and laughing so, so hard at my horror.

But cookies and brownies I have very good relations with.

As for killing myself...well yes I am, bit by bit, though on the other hand aren't we all in some way? The Grim Reaper stops for no man (or woman either). Time's scythe separates us all from life inevitably --



but you're right, I may start to limit my activity a little, Lotus, -- as indeed I suggested I would, Selina shall take a little bit of a vacation (or even semi-vacation) for a time. [the way drug addicts attempt to take vacations from drugs ] Indeed, I currently have so much work to do in real life that I would literally need there to be two of me to get everything done as swiftly as I would like.

There was probably something else I wanted to say, but I forgot.

I still want to reply to a couple of posts and then I'll phase myself out a little.

And President Roosevelt I love The King's Speech. I've never had issues with stuttering or public speaking but Bertie's quiet dignity and heroism always move me. I can really identify with him as he conquers his own demons/disability.

Also is Metal Gear as good as Assassin's Creed? I hear different things.

I also read somewhere that Beethoven had an imaginary cat called Keys and when his father was abusive he used to get comfort from his imaginary pet.

Al Pacino on his  movie where his only friend is a cat - "I was trying to be tender. The cat is a wonderful construct, it helps shape my character, it sheds light on who he is and his relationship to the world. I personally have both cats and dogs and love animals, maybe that's what came through in the film".
