Kind of crying internally at how good that gyro looks. They even top it with my 2 favourite veg tomato and onion. And that sauce looks amazing. Oh boy oh boy.
Love the song too very me

Awww PR you're so lovely! You made dedications for just about everyone living on the forum and some who haven't been around too... I can't think of anything sweeter.
Do you have a temperature or something?
I love my song.

For members who haven't been around much, this is just a courtesy notification that Teddy Roosevelt's made you some dedications on page 8 of this thread.

Sir, ’twas not
Her husband’s presence only, called that spot
Of joy into the Duchess’ cheek; perhaps
Fra Pandolf chanced to say, “Her mantle laps
Over my lady’s wrist too much,” or “Paint
Must never hope to reproduce the faint
Half-flush that dies along her throat.” Such stuff
Was courtesy, she thought, and cause enough
For calling up that spot of joy. She had
A heart—how shall I say?— too soon made glad,
Too easily impressed; she liked whate’er
She looked on, and her looks went everywhere.
Sir, ’twas all one! My favour at her breast,
The dropping of the daylight in the West,
The bough of cherries some officious fool
Broke in the orchard for her, the white mule
She rode with round the terrace—all and each
Would draw from her alike the approving speech,
Or blush, at least. She thanked men—good! but thanked
Somehow—I know not how—as if she ranked
My gift of a nine-hundred-years-old name
With anybody’s gift.

Re: Party Time
Aww PR, thanks for my song selections! Quite appropriate since my musical taste remain stuck in the 80s. Don't Stop Believing was even my ring tone for a long time so you definitely made the right choice!
And thanks to Selina for linking this thread in another thread so I had a chance to see it!

aww thank you Luney very sweet. I'd actually never heard of him, as you know I don't listen to non-classical at all (though I'd heard of Kenny G)... actually I was so confused by the video thumbnail, you said he and I was like, but he looks like a woman!

We do indeed it took me a few seconds to figure out why you were linking this video instead of the Harry Potter one, until I remembered the content of the lyrics

Re: Party Time
I LOVE PART!!!!!!
though I suppose Sami's cuter in the conventional sense...
though I do adore beards...
Well I don't love Part as much as the composers who are in my lifeblood (e.g. Beethoven, Bach, Dvorak, Puccini, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, ...and others... ) but differently, as someone who's still entering your system...this is the case with most 20th-century composers, I'm really a 19th-century and before person fundamentally, only started finding out my love for 20th-century art, literature, and music in my late teens.
I think I must have heard Part for the first time when I was doing my undergrad... my friends playing one of his string quartets...
For you Lunar, some Shostakovich... though please don't let your fiance see it, it may well really upset him...

Re: Party Time
Oh dang it, and here I was so sure that I can introduce you to something new I think even I hadn't heard Part before or at least listened properly other than in High School (by the way, I gotta figure out how to do 'a with dots on top' here cause Part with no dots is a duck in Estonian and I just can't take him seriously like that ). They say in Estonia that he is known in the world, but I didn't know he had already made it to koalaland
