Poll: Do you Meditate?

If you do meditate how often do you do so?

do you use guided meditations or do you follow a certain way?

do you find meditation helpful and what has it done to improve your thoughts, feelings and way of life?

I never do it anymore but I enjoyed it when I did. I followed a guided one on youtube but can't say I noticed a major improvement, maybe I just didn't stick at it long enough? I did enjoy it during it though, it was very relaxing and it's good chill out time away from the laptop, phones, TV, people etc, so I like it in that sense.

I prefer ASMR videos, for me they're kind of meditative and cos I get tingles from them it just relaxes me and helps me sleep easier. Razz

What about you? I'd like to try it again if anyone can suggest some good links to guided ones, I have a wandering mind and very little will power so I need guidance hehe.

yes i would like to try it too but i always seem to put it off like its a big deal

i struggle lately even doing mindfulness or taking 5 minutes to focus on breathing and letting thoughts be.. usually i fall asleep when i'm doing it very sad

but i would be willing to give a guided meditation a go.

I have always wanted to but I'm such a restless person and my mind wanders too easily, so I've never really succeeded. We need some experienced meditators (I don't think that's even a word) to guide us Razz

Though I don't really think it's true meditation if it's guided -- well, perhaps it is, but it is of a different quality. Of course I could be wrong, as I am by no means an expert. (Though I'm endorsed as knowledgeable about Meditation on Quora Razz
