Boss help

For some reason my old job at the airport has been in my mind constantly and the thought of emailing my boss if I could come back.... But we ended on bad terms (I quit for the job I got fired from) as we had a misunderstanding about my last day.
I've thought of writing down thank you for the magical outcome to emailing Sharyn, and writing some gratitude down about her and the job, besides visualing and feeling good about it does any one have any advice?
I can easily visualise myself doing the job compared to somewhere I haven't worked before.

I have seen so many incredible sunrises and sunsets at the airport

It sounds like you know what you want Bookworm and you are already thinking about how to go about getting it.

keep doing what makes you feel good in this situation, and know that the jobs already yours

I've been going through something similar, my old job keeps popping into my mind and I've been visualising receiving an email from my boss asking me to come back. I haven't tried anything other than that so far but I was talking to Lunar about scripting and I think I might give that a go. Have you thought about that?

Your job sounds wonderful btw, I've always loved airports. I used to be able to sit at a certain part in Glasgow airport and watch all the flights land/take off but in the wake of 9/11 it all changed and we couldn't get access and I really miss it, I could watch them all day and not get bored.

Oh I love airports too. I even got hired as a flight attendant once, but I decided not to take the job after a month cause their training for it just dragged on for ages and I was impatient.

If you think that you'd like that job back, or a job at the airport in general- go for it. You got absolutely nothing to lose.
I would honestly just go there physically. It is very easy to deny and reject over a phone call and it is much more likely to get a job when they see you actually made an effort to go and see them. Plus you can drop resumes off at other places in airport as well in case say, they are not hiring atm. The old boss might say they are not hiring, but this other place at the airport is.

It looks to me like maybe you're looking for the right technique or maybe more techniques in order to feel like you're increasing your "chances" of the best possible scenario. Here's how it really is though... there is no such thing as chance! You either get comfortable with the idea that a perfect job is in the works and showing up, or you can drive yourself nuts and sad by trying to calculate the best thing to do in order to make it happen...

If you're thinking of this old job, then I don't see any reason to not ask. You already know that you can speculate day and night for ages, yet a simple asking of "is there something open right now?" is enough to put it out there. If there is and he offers the information, then move in that direction. If he says no or doesn't seem to hospitable to you, your taking that step already sent that message to the universe that you're ready for a good job and you're a cooperative component.

By the way, if you think it's better to have him magically contact you and beg for you, it's not that it's not possible, though it IS that maybe you'd like that just so you won't have to face him by going to ask him yourself? Don't pretend you have nothing to offer and you're going to be groveling for a job. You're just saying hey I'm open to it. I think it's kind of not practical to try to use techniques to attract him coming to you when you can accomplish the same thing by knowing that you have value to bring to the situation and you are acting in good faith. Again, not that you can't manifest him contacting you, I just don't see it as necessary for you right now bc that might just throw off the actual focus, which is getting in the job now.
