Mystery of the disappearing posts…

I figured I'd start a thread about this since I've seen a few members mention that their posts have gone missing! It's probably best to have a separate thread so that the issue doesn't get lost in an existing thread.

I haven't have any of my posts disappear out into cyberspace (so far!) but since I've seen others mention it I've "copied" my post before sending it just in case, so that if there is a technical problem I don't lose what I've written.

Any ideas about whats going on? I wonder if it's a browser issue? (I use Chrome, if that makes a difference?)

i'm not sure why its happening, i havent had it happen to me so far, and i'm on Chrome aswell

Well, I use Firefox and it hasn't happened to me. Then again I don't post an awful lot

I thought it was only me! Some have disappeared during writing, and one disappeared after posting- just never showed up. I use Chrome, too. It's sort of caused me to write shorter replies bc I've spent an hour writing some that disappeared lol. I took it as it just wasn't a match to the forum or to me

I guess there is no way to know for sure if there are server problems or something like that causing the glitch.

I used to post on a forum years and years ago that had some issues temporarily. The system would stall out/get stuck when you would submit a post and then it'd be gone. It definitely was frustrating if you spent some time creating a thoughtful post just to have it disappear! Back then I just got into the habit of composing any longer posts in a word document and copied and pasted it in. That way if the internet sent it to parts unknown at least all of that time wasn't wasted!

I can't believe there are people who still talk to these people... President/Colonel Roosevelt, Posay, Lunar, MA. Even giving them "points" seems wrong to me. Their behavior on PLoA was utterly disgusting and disturbing. It wsa beyond anything I could imagine happening on a "positive" website. People act like nothing ever happened, like they were never completely horrible people.

What should we do... and suggestions? Can anyone HELP me?

BTW - why are people ignoring ME?? Are you all kidding?! This world makes me sick.

Adam, your comment about the troll gods really did make me laugh and I was thanking you for that. It wasn't my intention to make you feel bad. And no one's ignoring you. People have responded to posts you made. Your behavior on PLOA was far from angelic as well.

I know it made you laugh, because you're a sick and twisted person who gains pleasure from other people's struggle you help to create.

PR, you deserve NOTHING here, or on any other Law of Attraction forum. You have gone beyond crossing the line... and have LAUGHED along the way, pointing and judging my struggle, mocking me, always popping your little head up when I relapse to ptsd to upvote it and laugh. How rich.

I on the other hand, do deserve quite a lot of positive things from what I've contributed and because of who I am as a person. I would never laugh at another person's struggle or celebrate it or try to prolong it. I don't care what they've done. You, lunar, posay, and MA ALL have done that to me. We're going on a year straight. I have very very good reasons why I have acted the way I have. Did you know that I have vomitted from reading some of you guys' posts towards me? How's this for a charming conversation? "Hey guys, could you please stop harassing me? I vomited just now."

This is beyond "taking offense where there shouldn't be".



Anyone at all wanna say something about all this?

Adam please remember back to when you first joined this forum, it was asked then that the trouble from PLOA was not brought over to this forum, i assumed everyone was in agreement on this as so far this forum has remained and WILL REMAIN loving, welcoming and friendly

i'm sorry you're still feeling upset about what happened over there, but you cant expect people over here to isolate, shun or ignore any members here, everyone is welcome and loved, and it is noticed that people, President especially has tried very hard to make an effort and befriend you and help you to feel welcome and comfortable

so please, lets remember once again what we're here for, if people dont want to get along, if you feel you cant be friends with anyone then the best suggestion is to just not respond or talk to each other on here i guess, i would hope that you could all sort things out, we are adults of course, but if not then.. simply just ignore each other?

its been lovely seeing you posting and contributing alongside everyone else, please continue to do so, but lets not bring the PLOA  troubles up again

How could this even be possible? I have standards for myself and for my friends. One of them, is to not be friends with people like that. So, I don't think this is going to work.

I'm at the breaking point of saying, have your two forums, your glorifying titles, your amazing friendships together. I just can't stand this anymore. The injustice is tearing my soul apart. It disgusts me, how people can befriend people like this. This is seriously bad for my health and I think I just gotta disappear. I keep relapsing.

i'm sure we can continue on the forums in peace, if you feel low or feel like you cant cope, you can always message one of us on here and talk to us, or just take a break and come back when you're ready, there's no pressure

but you CANT keep berating the other forum members and insulting them.. this isnt the place for it

come add some crystals to the cabinet, or add some soothing calm music to the party thread... join in on the threads that make you feel good

just talk to us in kind, otherwise it will all end up horrible like it was before.. and no one wants that.

No one gives the slightest crap about what I've been through. Kazoo... apparently could not care less about me. They'd much rather talk with my bullier of 6-7-8-9 months or whatever, than say a word to me. Here they are right now - doing exactly that.

Apparently the most entertaining thing in an LoA forum is someone having an episode. People just stand back and watch, have an ice tea, and pretend nothing is happening while obviously something is. Like . . . lol, hello? You have nothing to say. Yeah that's been happening for a long time.

Of course Posay and CR and whoever else can keep composure. That's EASY in their situation. They have all the support and strength given by their friends! Oh I can't talk about how messed up that is... because then I'll be saying mean things about these people... and that's obviously not right.

I CAN'T LET IT GO. You know what triggered me today? Seeing Selina say that she loves Posay. That's IT. Selina didn't even know posay had harassed me. I tripped and went off on her. on SELINA, kazoo. I can't control it. It takes NOTHING anymore to trigger me.

Honestly, when you said chill... I was able to relax a bit. Selina helped too. But I just can't stop looping on this. It keeps repeating even if they don't do anything.

Adam, if it's that hurtful to read posts here perhaps this isn't the community for you.

If you have anything relevant to add to any of the other discussions then fantastic, please join in. But I don't plan on engaging in any further discussion about this. I wish you nothing but peace and happiness and hope you join in the community in a meaningful way and can leave all of this behind you.

PTSD  post traumatic stress disorder..... that wont go away on its own adam even if you did had it... and it takes a while to get it diagnosed..... you would need a lot of help with that

unfortunately my lovely i dont think the forum is going to be of help for you if you're going to get so stressed out so easily

you have to accept that Selina and every other member can talk to who they want, and love who they want, its not for you or anyone else to tell them differently
