The Daily Tao
#1The Tao that can be spoken is not the eternal Tao
The name that can be named is not the eternal name
The nameless is the origin of Heaven and Earth
The named is the mother of myriad things
Thus, constantly without desire, one observes its essence
Constantly with desire, one observes its manifestations
These two emerge together but differ in name
The unity is said to be the mystery
Mystery of mysteries, the door to all wonders.

About Mindset
http://jackcanfield.com/if-you-can-imagine-it/I read this article yesterday and thought that I believe it's so true- the most easy way to actually achieve anything is to change your mindset.
I think we set our own obstacles and decide what is normal for us to have and be. I read somewhere about top 5 reasons why people are poor and #1 was that it just never occurred to people that they COULD be rich. They had always been poor, or mid-class, their parents had worked hard all their lives, yet died poor, most of their friends and neighbors were poor. Of course like everyone else they'd dream of richer life and winning the lottery, but the mindset was that it always happens to someone else, nothing miraculous ever happens to them.
The poverty mindset is based on many negative beliefs such as
"I will appear greedy and selfish if I want to be rich"
"Money comes only with hard work and I don't have anything to offer that would have such significant value"
"This is normal, everyone is poor and that's just the way it is"
and so on.
But obviously I am talking about all kinds of mindsets, not just regarding money and wealth. You may have a mindset that you are not good enough for a soul mate relationship, that you only deserve the "faulty ones", you may believe that you never get lucky, nothing ever changes and whatever other "I just can't do it" that you can think of.
How about adapting a new mindset that you always win? That you are always lucky? That you are beautiful, lovable and perfect the way you are?
I think the first mindset you should change is the mindset that your mind is already as set as can be and changing it is really hard.
I know you can change it easily and instantaneously if you only choose to.
Just like lovely Freya shared with Lilac my post about overcoming low self esteem regarding relationships overnight, I can think of other small examples when things have seemed to shift in my brain.
For example, when I was in school I could not knit for the life of me, it was a total mess and left me frustrated until many years later in my 20s I tried again for fun and suddenly found it extremely easy. I knitted a really long scarf of all sorts of different patterns and really enjoyed that feeling of just overcoming a mental block that I had set for myself saying I just can't do something. It suddenly made me feel like ANYTHING was possible, since I had been wrong about my knitting skills, i can probably ace just about anything right
Likewise I was terrified of swimming, especially swimming in a place with no bottom. Every time I went anywhere near a deep water I felt like I was going to drown and panicked. Until one moment I just decided to relax and float. To my surprise I didn't sink at all and could float for a long long time in any position without getting tired. From that moment I felt no fear swimming in the "bottomless" end of lake or under water and it literally just happened in a split second just because I changed my mind.
I have many examples, but this post is getting too long So if you look at every area of your life, which mindsets could you adjust?

The Magic Model
I'm heavily into the occult for many years now, and I just discovered a very interesting model for magic... and for the LoA (I'll talk about the LoA version here, the magic one is a bit different). You probably know Bashar's theory of permission slips (if you don't, watch this video:)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QkT8dW4U4c
I discovered that sometimes it's very difficult to believe in wonders... or in change.
You just can't get over things, you can't believe that everything's going to be all right.
... or your rational mind can't relax for a moment to let your reality work out the next step (yes, I'm talking about allowing here).
So what then?
Then you need magic.
When we're young we believe in magic... then, later, everybody tells us that there is no such thing as magic, spells, wonders, etc... that reality is unchangeable.
Now wait for a moment: What is magic?
Is it real? Can you define it? Can you "use" such a weird power?
Your rational, logical mind will tell you: there is no such thing as magic.
It's not logical! How could such abstract phenomenon exist?
In this thread you'll see that magic does exist!
Well, not in a way you'd expect, but let's just say: You CAN use magic!
From the perspective of the Law of Attraction, magic is the ultimate shortcut.
It's:
- a very good feeling
- maximum allowing
- a leap of faith
- creation without limitations
- using your innate Godlike powers
- ultimate freedom
How to use magic? + How does magic work?
Yes, this is a 2in1 question.
Magic is the opposite of your "unchangeable" reality.
When you observe things and people, you feel that your world is there (even without you, the observer).
You do "normal" stuff, everyday.
You walk, you eat, you see / hear / smell, etc...
That's "normal".
And, of course, there's causality, logic, consistency.
... and all of this is YOU.
Your world.
... made by the Law of Attraction... which is MAGIC!!!
Your life is governed by magic - your thoughts become things, and your emotions guide you in this process.
Oh, and beliefs! Let's not forget beliefs!
If you want to use magic, you HAVE TO believe in magic.
No, I'm not talking about visible, "flashy" spells like the ones in fantasy movies.
Your thoughts are magical, you see.
But we don't let magic work properly! We're limiting ourselves.
Ok, ok you all know this.
But how to use magic?!
This time I'll say: like in those fantasy movies!
While it's not visible or "flashy", you'll feel it's power.
Magic is not about logic - it's about emotions, feelings, allowing.
You don't even have to cast a specific spell.
Just do it! Try it! Wave your hand, relax and let the "magic" work!
Sounds crazy?
EXACTLY!
It is crazy. It's not "normal" - THAT'S THE POINT!
That's why it can bypass you, your ego and your limiting beliefs.
It. Just. Works.
I'm not saying that you should use the LoA like this all the times.
And, obviously, casting spells in front of everyone would be a bad idea, so you either do it privately, when you're alone or just using small gestures (or without using any gestures at all).
Now one could say: But this method is about the "How?" and not the "What?"!
I don't think so.
Even your legs are permission slips for getting A from B without instant teleportation.
Magic is not the goal, it's just a tool. Just like a car or a job, or anything, really.
Remember: don't try to find some logical theory or explanation for magic!
Again: IT. JUST. WORKS.
Magic is magic, just like in fairy tales.
It's the Law of Attraction without YOUR limits.
You don't even have to ask for something.
Just visualize light, flying spells, flowing energy, ANYTHING!... or just feel good and let the "power" engulf you.
SUMMARY: Magic is an illogical, irrational, allowing state of being.
You can use magic without any specific goal in mind, and it will still help you in everything you want to manifest.
Magic is a permission slip that let you use your full creating potential.
UPDATE #1: The trick is the doing part.
You have to use magic.
Cast spells, raise energy, feel the power - that's the trick!
Doing some illogical, "magical" little ritual that will help you... somehow.
It's all about trust.
You trust the Universe, Source, your Higher Self and let everything work out in the best way it's possible.
It's not you, not your ego... it's magic.

7 Day Manifestation Experiment
To be honest I completely forgot about this one lol.To the point that I forgot what the deal with this challenge was? Were we supposed to visualize the goals every day or just in the beginning. I didn't even visualize once
Well #1 and #3 of my list would be ongoing goals kinda- there has been some progress, but always room for more progress.
#2 I could think of several messages from friends, but I think the ones from my family brought more joy.
I did manifest a couple things by accident today though. Vietnamese Pho noodles lol- I was just thinking I hadn't had them in over a year and later on tonight hubs brought me some, although I never told him about it. Not sure if LOA or telepathy there
Yesterday someone shared an article about sleep paralysis on Facebook. I didn't even read it but thought it did happen to me once when I was a teenager. Of course it had to happen again- last night ughhh Should've knocked on wood

Luuneyland
It's Christmas in Luuneyland and it's also Princess Freya's Birthday!!
There is a party in Luuneyland and everyone is glammed up, Adi arrives with a sleek hairdo with his new girlfriend Edna. He firmly believes "it's all about the old!"
Night and Ursula are roasting chestnuts blissfully unaware that ninja Armine is secretly going through all the presents and writing her name on the ones that sound good when shaken.
I am baking cookies with Posay when I suddenly realize with horror that Posay can not control herself around cookies
Grim is the most patient boyfriend ever standing in the corner and being a Christmas tree/candelabrum for Posay.
Bruce is not even remotely interested in the Christmas apple that Kazoo is offering him, he is rather eyeing up Freya's birthday cake.
PR is demonstrating some extraordinary multitasking skills, managing to serenade a birthday ode to Freya and have a heated debate with Bashar and Lotus over MTC's book simultaneously. 'What am I here to do' has become quite a universal bestseller, placing #1 for 35 weeks in a row in Orion, Arcturus and Ganimedes and a whopping 45 weeks in Essassani!
A group hug for Freya - Happy Birthday!! We you!!

Sims: Role Playing Game Comments and Discussion
Night Eyes wrote:your characters pegged it anyways :p
Only because none of you went to plead with the Grim Reaper. Anyway I'm not leaving it like this. I'm dead but not beaten.
The Grim Reaper is having fun with this guy's soul. There is so much hate there, enough to put him in Hell till the day Hell freezes over. But there is something else as well. Some sort of basic goodness. Valour. Raven is a Night Watchman but his Paravan nature is strong in him still.
Grim can't change that. He can't put a soul like this in Hell. But he can play with it. He can watch it squirm.
GRIM: So why did you betray the Paravans?
RAVEN: I'm not telling you.
GRIM: Death? Was that what you were scared of? Not much point man, I'm here anyway.
RAVEN: (scowling) I was never scared of death. Give me a break.
GRIM: You were scared that your name would be wiped out of the Book of the Blessed and you would be forgotten. You wanted fame at any cost.
RAVEN: You mean infamy.
GRIM: Whatever rocks your carriage.
RAVEN: Well I got infamy alright.
GRIM: (thoughtfully) And yet you're still lacking the thing you want most. I wonder...
RAVEN: What do you wonder.
GRIM: You say you aren't scared of death. You evidently aren't scared of being forgotten. Money, was that it? Were you afraid of losing your riches?
RAVEN: You're pretty dumbass for a grim reaper aren't you. I thought you were supposed to read everything from our souls.
GRIM: Usually, yes. But yours is a funny colour.
RAVEN: Colour?
GRIM: Metaphorical expression. Souls don't have colours any more than light does.
RAVEN: Then you're just an eejit. I see.
GRIM: Eejit?
RAVEN: Irish word. Means "idiot".
GRIM: Oh, very good. Give the man a slow clap everybody...
RAVEN: Have you ever heard of coloured light? You must have failed reaper school. Anyway it was nice talking to you, but I have to go back to my body now.
GRIM: Your body is dead my dearest.
RAVEN: Somebody will save me. Revive me.
GRIM: Not going to happen.
RAVEN: (stubborn) She's coming. I know she's coming.
GRIM: (a glint in his eyesocket) Oh a she. I see. So that's what you were scared of. The most primitive fear in the book.
RAVEN: I don't know what you mean.
GRIM: You were scared of love. Or more precisely, of losing love. You didn't care about dying because you knew that as a Paravan you'd join the White Fleet. You weren't scared of losing your good name because infamy is just as good for you. You didn't care if you were forgotten, or poor. You just didn't want to feel unloved.
RAVEN: Shut it.
GRIM: The most primitive desire we have...love...
RAVEN: I said shut your mouth.
GRIM: I'm starting to really enjoy this....
There is a cawing in the distance. It's Brown. Raven breathes a sigh of relief, or would if he had his body with him.
RAVEN: Well, it's been nice knowing you Brother Grim, but I'm outta here.
GRIM: What do you think -- but that's impossible. Crows can't enter the netherworld.
RAVEN: This one can. I told you she'd come.
GRIM: You're in love with a bird?!
RAVEN: (his soul grinning) Yeah that's right. I was so scared of losing her leuuuve that I betrayed the Paravans. Nice try Grim. Till another time.
GRIM: Not so fast. Your bird may have flummoxed me for a moment but there's still nothing she can do.
RAVEN: Oh yes there is.
GRIM: (his mind racing) But that would mean further disgrace...you wouldn't...
RAVEN: Better than being stuck with you for all eternity.
GRIM: NO!!!!!
But Brown's already swooped to tear Raven's soul from Grim's hands. Grim is speechless and momentarily powerless. She's going to use the Undead Magic, the darkest curse of them all. He watches as she gobbles up Raven's soul.
And then he comes to, just in time to lunge a Stricking Curse at the bird. He can't stop them escaping, but at least he can control what becomes of them.
6 or under: Grim manifests Stricking Change #1 in the bird and her man, tying them together in one body.
7 or above: Grim manifests Stricking Change #2 in Raven, meaning he won't be able to reenter his old body and will be a powerless clod of dust in Brown's beak until she finds a new body fo him
Either way, Raven will be Night Watchman no more. He is Undead now, and that, reflects Grim, is worth something.
