Photography Competition

I thought it might be fun to try out a weekly photography competition Very Happy

Each week there is a theme and you can submit a photo that relates to the subject. Doesn't have to be anything special, crappy phone photos are good enough, it's just for fun.

To vote please give the photo you like most a thumbs up.
The winner is the one with most likes and gets to choose next week's subject. If there are 2 or more winners, they can decide between them which subject to go for.

Photos must be taken within the contest week by the poster to make it fair Smiley

If you can, wait with voting until the last couple days of the competition week, in case you see a better photo pop up after you have already voted.

The first week's subject is "Happiness", so snap a photo of something that you are grateful for, something that makes you happy.

Contest ends on Thursday March 24th.

I took this photo a few days ago when I was walking in the park. The sun was actually out and it's quite a rarity for me to see a little family of ducks like this, I usually only see the "adult" ones so it made me happy to see this little family. Facebook Heart

Reminds me how we used to walk our dog by this channel in Surrey and there were always duck families swimming around in spring time. Until they saw the dog that is and then they turned into tiny turboducks swimming for their dear lives Laughing

I spent all morning trying to get a pic of Arya sleeping on the bed like a human but the furry critter just knows... so she wont do it lol

Ok so the cats dont particularly like having their photo taken

But my lovely Orion was kind and gave me a nice selfie, which brings a big old smile to my face I love you

Although I have to say that Moo moo with her golden eyes and glowing whiskers and Tiger who thinks he's a dog were also strong contenders. Also, my garden is a place that makes me happy and helps me recharge batteries.
These 3 are not in competition. All taken today except garden that was last week.

I absolutely love to take pictures of flowers so I made a collage of a couple of my favorites. It's an ode to spring. Oh in the middle is a picture of my race bike Smiley

I know I haven't taken these pictures this week so it doesn't count Wink

but hopefully it will give you a happy spring feel.

Aw I don't see why they shouldn't count. I love them your little collage though, beautiful colours and it has definitely given me a spring feel on this cloudy Tuesday I love you

That's an awesome photo! I don't live far away from the beach either and I am there very often during the summer. If we don't have rain like 75% of throughout the year Wink
