Today I was talking to this random guy on PLOA about Jehovah's Witnesses.

Half an hour later my mum tells me I should remember to lock the front door when I'm alone in the house tomorrow so that I'm not bothered by Jehovah's Witnesses.




No one in my family has mentioned JW in a long long time, and I'm alone in the house relatively often, so it was a very meaningful - and cool - coincidence.


Does anyone else have cute synchronicity stories to share?

i do find when people post certain topics on the forums, i end up getting them on my facebook newsfeed.

I think I've shared this before. I'm not sure if I captured the feeling of synchronicity as felt that moment, but it was... ineffable...

Great story Armine! And my God --- you sharing that is a synchronicity in itself. I've just started writing about music and the ineffable again after 2 years.

I was actually just thinking about starting a thread about coincidences and then I saw this thread!

My thoughts were about how nothing really is a coincidence, is it? I am not even sure I can truly articulate all of my thoughts about this at the moment (I've been working a ton and I'm tired!) but I know that since I've expanded my understanding and awareness I really do pay much more attention to synchronicities and coincidences much more than before. I think they are a great way of letting us know what our subconscious is trying to tell us.

I remembered an old but fun synchronicity yesterday. Our neighbors here have 2 horses and one miniature horse (not a pony, it's like a dwarf horse, perfect for my 2 year old) and my husband said yesterday he thinks that little horse looks like a tiny demon horse.

That reminded me when I was a teenager I read some ghost story about some black demon horses with red eyes that appeared out of nowhere and then disappeared.
A week or 2 later I was at my grandparents farm and went for a walk in the woods with the girl next door. It was winter time and there was some snow on the ground. We got about half an hour into the woods with not a soul around and I was telling my friend about the horse story. No more than 10 minutes later we hear some chains rattling in the bushes. We stop and stare and suddenly this black HORSE steps out of the woods and just looks at us. I mean it didn't get a chance to look for very long, cause obviously we ran off pretty darn fast. Obviously it must've been some local farmer's escaped horse, although I have never before or after that seen a horse in the woods and I don't know of anyone who would have horses around there, but just the perfect TIMING of it stepping out RIGHT after I had told her the story about demon black horses... priceless...

Synchronicity.

Just recently had a rather dramatic one. Another person involved, even brought up the fact that she thought it rather odd, a weird coincidence is how she put it, that a certain situation brought together three different people, into the same subject.

I do think it made her wonder, if there is some other force " out there " that brings us together. She actually mentioned that on the phone.

Anyway, I won't go into detail. Just wanted to mention to those that are interested in the subject of synchronicity, yes, they do occur and are very important to bringing events together in your life. Never discount them to coincidences.

We, in here, know synchronicities are valid. It's just nice to experience others, ( like the person in my recent one ) take notice of them.

Funny synchronicity: I was thinking yesterday that it would be nice to get some Evening Primrose Oil because of the skin benefits. Today, looking through the fridge, my dad discovered a bottle of Evening Primrose tablets that neither he nor my mum remember buying! It's a mystery...

Funny thing just happened. The last couple of days, I've been thinking how I should get back down to Sydney for a day in a couple of weeks. And mum just said that sometime soon, we ought to - you guessed it, go to Sydney for a day! I thought it was funny, though she'd been thinking about it for a while without telling me.
