Some things just come naturally, don't they? I'm always fascinated by things like that: those little coincidences in life that make you wonder, wait, is it really a coincidence, or is there some secret tapestry of meaning?

All this talk of knights and ladies puts in mind one of my favourite stories growing up, about an ordinary princess, who was quite plain! -- throughout the story, they repeatedly came back to the folk song:

Welcome Monica, Ena, Adam and Mr. Brightside. Yet another wave of beautiful members. Have been waiting for you Monica. You were one of those few young ladies at the top of my short list. Mr. Brightside was a great surprise, because, only a couple of days ago, I invited him "mentally" to join, and was seriously willing to invite him in writing. Only a few hours later he joined! (Wish everyone was as sensitive and receptive to my mental calls! *Sigh*) As for Adam, you guys sure know that was your own manifestation not mine—through either excessive desire or excessive resistance. Either way, welcome aboard Adam and thanks for coming; I'm personally both glad and proud to have you here with us. The problem in PLOA could be put in only two words: Culture and Management. Neither, I believe, is a problem here. And neither will be. We, the members of this forum, are very attentive not to ruin our experience here; rather improve it constantly. So I sincerely hope you and all newer members will have a great time on these beautiful boards, also help us enjoy ours even more.

So I was meeting with a friend to go to a private concert last night. I was dropped of at her house, and the damn driver wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. As he looked back at me to give the usual "peace out", he let up on the brakes and my right ankle was rolled under the back left tire as I stepped out. My leg was bent to the left as the tire rolled on top of the right side of my foot. I just yelled at him to back up - in no uncertain tone, obviously... his car was literally on top of my ankle. He backed up, got off my foot, I sat in his car for a second, got out, and passed out in my friend's front yard (while knocking over some clangy things). Yadda yadda yadda... I went to an Urgent Care place, and they took some ex-rays... I have no broken bones at all, and my ankle is totally fine. The nurse called it "one of those crazily rare miracle cases" because my foot was able to withstand that much weight without breaking.

It's sore, a little bit. Also, I missed the concert. But, now I have this badass story to tell for the rest of my life. lol

Underlying tapestry of meaning? My friend looked up the meaning of the right foot in "spiritual" terms, and she found something that said... moving forward and standing your ground. There is something I need to firmly verbalize to others to let them know where I stand, that it should be validated by them. That was the wording... "validated". This can't possibly be a late "signal" to me... which makes me wonder.

In any case, something has definitely been looking out for me.

Oh Adam that must have been such a terrible experience!! But thank God you got through it in the way that you did - it looks like noble Adam is, like Achilles and other heroes, immune from harm.

Also, you guys think that's terrible? Heh. Last night was a cake walk. I know it sounds like I'm bragging... but honestly, it didn't even hurt initially. Passing out was the worst part because I was actually conscious the whole time. I just remember thinking "Why is this happening to me" but I had no idea what was going on.

That wasn't bad. Not the fact that Lotus couldn't care less about my presence here is "bad". What's worse than that is the disrespect and humiliation I endured publicly on PLoA. Honestly, one of the all-time worst experiences of my life. Really. I'd rather a car run over my foot than ever endure that again. Thank God, for you Selina. Like the angel that kept my foot from crushing, so did you my heart.

I don't even know how to send PM's here, so this is how I am sharing things with you. haha.

Yes, my foot is fine. I go back in 2 weeks to get another x-ray if it hurts. I'll probably be 100% ok.
OH, another spiritual thing about the foot. I have to move on or move forward, from or to something. So I'll keep you posted on that.
